History and founders
A real estate legacy that crossed the Atlantic to return with new ambition.
Juan Daniel Benavides represents the new generation of Colombia's real estate sector, heir to a family track record of more than thirty years through Grupo Inmobiliario Tomando Posesión, founded in 2019 by Juan Carlos Benavides.
Together with Andrés Carmona, an executive specialized in finance and premium real estate, they founded Garonne Capital following a trip by Juan Daniel through Occitania, France, in the summer of 2026 — where the Garonne River became a metaphor for connection and the movement of wealth.
Today they are building a Colombian firm with an international presence, with the ambition of taking Colombia to the world and bringing the world of real estate to Colombia.
